💛 SCSG 2026 Community Message
A warm message to our community — Thanksgiving, Vision, Events, First Connections & Wedding Décor Rental
🌿 Hello SCSG Family,
As we step into a new year together, my heart is full of gratitude.
When Sacred Companion SG first began, our desire was simple — to create a safe, faith-filled space for singles to journey together without pressure, without pretense, and with genuine community at the center.
We didn’t know how God would grow it. Yet over the past four years, He has been faithful in ways we never expected.

🙏 Thanksgiving — Looking Back at God’s Goodness
We praise God for the many testimonies He has written in our midst:
4 couples who met through SC have gotten married since 2022.
2 more couples are getting married in 2026.
2 couples are currently dating through SC connections.
Many others have been supported through their season of singleness and have since found their partners outside SC — carrying with them the growth they experienced here.
Countless genuine friendships have formed, with many now gathering independently even outside events.
More individuals are stepping up with a heart to serve singles, offering their gifts, creativity, time, and prayer.
We continue to receive prayer and venue support from Bethel Presbyterian Church.
More ministries are inviting us to collaborate by sharing their events with the wider Christian singles community, strengthening the landscape in a healthy, sustainable way.

🌟 2026 Theme: Becoming Who God Called Us To Be
“Becoming Who God Called Us To Be.”
This year, we want to build on the clarity gained in 2025 — shifting our focus from chasing milestones to becoming the person God is shaping us into.
This year is about becoming:
grounded and whole
emotionally and spiritually healthy
more Christlike in our responses and relationships
who God designed us to be — before romance, through romance, and beyond romance
Anchor Verse for 2026
“So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31 (ESV)
This theme ties together everything we do — Social Nights, Chillax Nights, Walks, and now, First Connections.

💛 Introducing First Connections (New in 2026)
A gentle, intentional way to start meaningful conversations
Many singles desire companionship — and that desire is good. But dating can feel stagnant or discouraging when opportunities are limited or high-pressure.
First Connections is our new initiative for 2026: a simple, structured, low-pressure way for singles to meet others through short, meaningful conversations.

What to expect:
Short rotation conversations
Cozy, structured but relaxed environment
Age-specific groups for comfort and relevance
After the session, you may indicate whom you'd like to know better
If mutual, SCSG will connect the two of you privately
Why this matters:
Not everyone we meet will be the one God has prepared — and that’s okay. Search takes time. Connections take time.
First Connections simply gives you a gentle “first look,” an appetizer — a healthy starting point to discern whether you want to explore a simple coffee or walk outside the event. It's not matchmaking. It’s not high-pressure. It’s simply a structured, Christ-honoring space to start a conversation.
Because at SC, our heart remains the same: Community first, with intentional pathways when you're ready.
💍 A Gentle Teaser: Affordable Wedding Décor Rental (New in 2026)
As SC grows, we’ve also seen God bring couples together through this community. And as some step into preparing for marriage, we realized how stressful and costly weddings can be.
So in 2026, we’re quietly piloting a small, affordable wedding décor rental service.
This is not to shift our focus away from singles or to pressure anyone toward marriage. It is simply a resource for the future — something that may bless you one day, or someone you know.
We will be offering simple, reusable décor pieces for church ceremonies, arches, and reception tables — thoughtful and budget-friendly, to lighten the load for couples when their season comes.

The heart behind this is stewardship: to reduce unnecessary cost, encourage sustainability, and support couples well when God leads them into marriage.
🙏 Prayer Request for 2026
As we look ahead, we invite you to pray with us:
Pray that SC remains faithful to God’s direction — never losing sight of why we exist and who we serve.
Pray that we stay true to our heart: to be a safe, Christ-centered community for singles in every season.
Pray for wisdom and discernment, that every new initiative — including First Connections and the wedding décor rental — aligns with God’s will and glorifies Him.
Pray that God continues to grow this community, not just in numbers, but in depth, authenticity, and spiritual fruit.
Pray that through our search for love and companionship, others may see Christ in us — in our character, patience, purity, kindness, and trust in God’s timing.
May everything we do point back to Him. May this community become a testimony of God’s goodness, grace, and faithfulness through all seasons.
