Our speakers are Luke & Abigail

Luke (32) and Abigail (29) first met each other as youths in BRMC, but only developed a closer friendship as young adults in 2013. They started dating in 2014, before getting engaged in Jan 2016 and married in Dec that same year at the respective ages of 25 and 22. They currently have two sons, Levi (4) and Lucas (1), and Lemuel born in Nov 2023.* While they are considered to have gotten married and entered parenthood at a young age, Luke and Abigail actually wished that they had done so even earlier!

Luke served as the Pastoral Team Staff with the Youth and Young Adults Ministries for 2.5 years before embarking on his studies at Trinity Theological College in mid-2023. He previously worked as a social worker at Epworth Community Services. Abigail teaches English in a secondary school, where she is deeply thankful for the precious opportunities to positively impact the lives of her students.

Prior to the birth of Levi, Luke and Abigail served actively in the Youth and Worship Ministries in BRMC. While that season of service has been momentarily paused due to the limitations brought by a young family, their common love for music remains. In the limited free time they have, they also enjoy the basic Singaporean activities of watching TV, shopping and eating together.

Dialogue Session Schedule

10 – Mix and mingling with refreshments 10.15 – Welcome, Worship, Opening Prayer 10.30-11.15 – Dialogue with Luke & Abigail. Luke & Abi will introduce themselves and then begin to field live questions about dating and courtship 11.15 – Closing Words, Closing Prayer
